“ow!” satoru winces, muttering under his breath, cursing the pot that’s boiling on the stove. “fu-- damn stove, i’d burn you but you’d probably like that.”

that’s the first thing you hear when you wake up from your nap. you’re splayed out on the sofa where you fell asleep by accident, only to wake up to the sound of satoru speaking to himself. well, the stove.

you sigh, eyes still bleary with sleep. sitting up with a yawn, you stretch your arms over your head before you get up to join satoru in the kitchen.

he turns to look at the doorway of the kitchen before you even take a step inside. and he’s pouting, rubbing his index finger with his thumb to soothe it.

the strongest sorcerer, by the way. an eighteen-year-old boy who was taught how to utilise his powers and train them, but was never taught basic life skills like cooking.

“baby,” he whines, “the pot tried to kill me. the stove is its accomplice.”

you can’t help the snort that escapes you, shaking your head at his dramatic antics that never end. you walk over to him and gently take his hand in yours, examining his finger. his finger right next to the one that has a digimon plaster wrapped around it because he accidentally cut himself with a knife the other day.

“you’ll be okay. run it under cool water.”

satoru lets you hold his hand under the running tap. in fact, he hopes that you never let go of his hand. maybe he should burn himself more often.

“i could’ve cooked, you know. you just came back from back-to-back missions,” you say, your tone slightly scolding. but your face softens when you notice his tired gaze drag down to the floorboards of the kitchen, a pout still on his lips, shoulders hunched like something is weighing them down.

“you were sleeping,” he mumbles, more solemn now. “and i wanted to make sure that there’s food ready before we go pick megumi and tsumiki up from school.”

“satoru,” you say softly, waiting for his eyes to meet yours before you continue, “the responsibility isn’t all yours. i’m here. i always am. even if i’m sleeping. we’re doing this together.”

he sighs, shoulders relaxing slightly. “i know.”

you turn the tap off and gingerly pat his hand clean with a kitchen towel, and he watches you every second. even as you let go of his hand for a few moments to reach for the first-aid kit in one of the cabinets, taking out a gauze to protect his finger.

“i think i’m going to have to keep reminding you, though,” you say, knowing how stubborn satoru can be when it comes to sharing responsibilities, no matter how big or small. “i’ll finish cooking, we’ll get the kids, and then you’re going to bed.”

your tone leaves no room for argument, but of course satoru always finds a way to sneak one in.

“but i wanna spend time with you, i missed you so much these past few days. who even needs sleep?”

you look up at him with a raised eyebrow, and he grins down at you, snowy eyelashes fluttering like they do when he wants his way (it works 70% of the time).

“you’re going to sleep. you haven’t rested properly in almost a week.”

“i’ll rest with you. you’re like my little power bank.”

“i hate you.”

“no you don’t. we have kids together--”

“you randomly brought them home one day.”

“-- you take care of me.”

“because you whine and that doesn’t help anyone.”

“aaaand you love me,” he beams, a smile that makes your heart melt in a way that you can’t ignore.

that’s when you don’t say anything; you only stare at satoru and he’s still smiling because he already knows. he never needs you to say it even if he professes his love to you everyday.

he knows it in the way you always take care of him, physically and emotionally, being the safe space he’s never had. in the way you’ve stuck by him no matter what, no matter how hard things have gotten. and a lifetime isn’t enough for him to express his gratitude.

“so it’s decided. we’ll finish cooking, go pick them up, then spend time together.”

“no.”

this time was included in the 30%.

it’s not their fault, y’know. you just had to melt away the rust that clings to their shadows, lapping up the bitter aftertaste of guilt— shunning it aside to plant seeds of devotion instead.

(and oh how they water it with their touch.)

tender touches, but not the gentle kind. no, this one lingers like the ringing silence after a lovesong too sweet— the haunting absence after simply being. it makes you a little afraid, about what would happen if their hands were to leave your sacred skin.

luckily for you, they know how to kiss those worries away.

“god, look at you,” satoru murmurs into your jaw, ivory locks tickling your nose. “so pretty. so— so. . you. and aaall for us, hm?”

behind you, suguru lets out a hum— and you feel it snake its way down your throat, softly wrapping its teeth around the silly words that threaten to spill. not to choke you— no, he’d never hurt you. but enough to make you still completely. “you think so loudly,” his thumb mellows out the tension in your wrist, “quiet now, sweet one.”

“pretty, pretty, pretty,” satoru carries on, pressing his mouth against your collarbone. he stays there for a while— unmoving, perhaps to engrave hushed, saccharine prayers into your bones. you feel every single one, trapping them between your ribs so they could help you sleep whenever they were away.

“and all ours,” suguru finishes for him, his nose brushing against your nape— breathing you in like a lost sailor’s serenade, like you’re the sun and the sea and everything in between, his stolen solace that he can’t bear to see hurt.

I NO LONG SUPPORT OR ASSOCIATE MYSELF OR EVEN WANT TO HEAR BOOTYHEARTS NAME IN A GLORIFIED LIGHT EVER AGAIN

her defense was basically well i posted one sentence about the idea first, and honestly? okay. fair. you cannot copyright an idea, and sometimes two people really do come up with the same concept independently. that happens. nobody is arguing otherwise.

what i do have an issue with is how she immediately wrote “i encourage people to use my work as inspiration,” because that very clearly feels like she’s trying to send her goons after Ctrlaltdelilah by implying that they were the one who copied her. which is insane considering the circumstances.

and then there’s the “even if i had read the fic”. like. girl. why would you phrase it like that unless you did read it? that wording makes it seem like she did, in fact, read Ctrlaltdelilah’s fic.

so i went back and reread both fics side by side, and no, Eden did not straight-up copy sentences word for word. but plagiarism in creative writing is not always literal copy-pasting. this falls into structural plagiarism/idea-lifting, where someone lifts the progression, dynamics, specific setup beats, emotional framing, etc. while changing enough wording/details to avoid looking obvious at first glance. which is still plagiarism.

anyway. because i clearly have too much free time, here’s my breakdown:

the meat suit/wearing skin metaphor

Ctrlaltdelilah:

"…he's stuck wearing his teacher's corpse like an ill-fitting suit…" / "I'm wearing his meat, puppeting his flesh…"

Eden:

"Just the man who wore his skin." / "Knew that the thing wearing his skin wasn't him."

yuta having gojo’s memories is canon

nobody is disputing that. but both of these fics make a super specific creative choice: yuta using gojo’s spicy memories

Ctrlaltdelilah: yuta purposely digging into gojo’s memories

The fantasy had felt so real because he’d had Gojo’s memories to supply every detail he needed—the taste of your skin, the sounds you made…

Eden: takes this exact concept and makes it the main focus of her smut

Yuta proved that he had committed to his sensei's memories. He knew exactly how to fuck you on the pink muscle. Where to touch. What pressure.

like i’m sorry. be serious. this is not just “same concept.” it’s the exact same psychological mechanic being reused beat for beat.

the acting and the lie motif

Ctrlaltdelilah: has a chapter called "The Lies We Breathe"

"The lie tastes bitter on his tongue, but he holds you anyway…"

Eden: uses this exact framing

'I’m here.' He lied, so sweetly." and "'I’m here, I’m right here, sweetheart.' He lied, so gently.

same emotional cadence. same motif. same emphasis on the lie itself

the not him formatting

okay this one is harder to explain unless you read both fics at the same time like I did but they both use the exact same choppy repetitive formatting to highlight the weirdness of it being gojo’s body but yuta’s soul

Ctrlaltdelilah:

gasping his name. No, not his name. Satoru. except in the fantasy it was his name, Yuuta, not Satoru.

Eden:

Your Satoru. / Not your Satoru. / Satoru's body. / Your Satoru's body.

like this is SUCH a specific stylistic tic

playing pretend

Ctrlaltdelilah:

"You know Yuuta must realize what you're doing. You know he must understand that every time you look at him, you're looking through him to the ghost beneath… Every time the grief becomes too heavy… he's there with open arms, letting you sob into his chest, letting you pretend."

Eden:

"I can be him. You can call his name. Pretend he's touching you… 'We can play pretend,' he promised."

again. same dynamic. same language. same emotional premise.

yuta’s characterization

as obsessive, intentionally allowing his moral boundaries to decay so he can have his sensei’s wife. Eden copies Ctrlaltdelilah’s exact characterization of corrupted yuta

Ctrlaltdelilah:

"What kind of person jerks off thinking about his dead teacher's grieving widow? What kind of monster takes advantage of someone's trust like that? Okkotsu Yuuta does." / "He lets himself hold you and breathe you in and pretend… that this is okay."

Eden:

"Yuta shedded his [morals] a long time ago… all he wanted? You." / "Diminishing both the space between you and your shame… 'I'm here,' He lied, so sweetly… Deceived you with promises that had already been broken."

like at a certain point it stops being “inspiration” or “coincidence” and starts becoming somebody else’s entire framework with worse wording.

TL;DR

if you took Ctrlaltdelilah’s worldbuilding, psychological mechanics, motifs, emotional beats, dialogue cadence, and characterization choices and shoved it into a smut slop blender, you’d get Eden’s fic.

However, I will state that I no longer associate with any of those that consider themselves "moots", "friends" or interacts, in any way, shape, or form, with @sweethearticism. I know people who've had first-hand experience with her and her culty-like community, and I myself have had poor experience with Eden.

It took me a while to come out and say this, but it was because of fear of spealing up. I've always had a problem with Eden, where she'd ignore everything I said, or treat me coldly, and, recently enough, block me and make her cult block me because I called her out on her bullshit.

Though I won't say exactly what happened, Eden and her "friends", or, at least, her anons, sent hate to a mutual of mine for a long while. That's pretty much all the details I can give.

However, when I told Eden's mutuals about the piece of shit, childish behavior of 1. not apologizing and 2. blocking instead of trying to talk it out, her mutuals blocked me, too. It's also important to say that, while all of this happened, a mutual tried to turn the situation into a "woe is me" moment, when our FRIEND was recieving death threats. Not surprised for the weird fucking cult she has. Pardon my french, but I'm still frustrated about it, so I won't hold back.

Said mutuals, then, went ahead to joke about DEATH WISHES and mock the fact that I spoke out about it. link

I think writing twincest if fucking weird, but if you're writing it, at least PROPERLY TAG IT! If you're uncomfortable calling it INCESET, then that's because you KNOW it's incest.

When I first joined a server with Eden, through another mutual, I thought she was fucking amazing. I spoke to her once, and after that, she treated me like shit. While being all sweet and bubbly with everyone, whenever I'd text, I'd get bland words. As if I was just a weirdo texting her.

Multiple people have told me they also went through this. It's not a one-time thing.

This section is another callout. This is to all of those who still support Eden: you're just as guilty. You're taking part in shaming victims.
