While I had played the "Secret of the Old Clock" and "The Secret of Shadow Ranch" hundreds of times, my classmates were thrilled by "Curse of Blackmoor Manor".

And I didn’t understand why: the only things I liked about it was Mrs. Drake’s greenhouse and a parrot. For the rest of time, I’ve been suffering from that stupid maze and endless games Jane forced us play.

In general - not my cup of tea Several years later, it would not have occurred to me to play this game voluntarily if it were not for my friend. And you know what? I was excited about the ambience and music, how many interesting details and secrets the manor was hiding, how much I didn't noticed as a child! My bestie made a poster with us in the lead role - two girls searching for treasure in a cursed old manor ⋆｡°✩

A great news for my Russian-speaking subscribers - I have finished writing a fanfiction based on the Nancy Drew game "Trail of the twister" with a Nancy Drew/Scott Varnell ship (forgive me lord) I couldn't stop myself. I reimagined the story and the character when I re-played this game as an adult, and a lot of things inside me rebelled. I refuse to accept the ending offered by the game, and I offer you my own vision. I hope you'll enjoy it  🌩

Maybe it's the Wild West or the animals on the ranch, but I already have two handmade items from this game: the recipe box and the wallet.

@drewtober Combo Cola puzzle

In the university of Linguistics we studied the Spanish language as well as the history of Spain and the culture of indigenous people of South America, so I can easily say that Mesoamerican civilisations (mayans, aztecs, Incas) are my Roman Empire.

I enjoyed this part of the series and still somehow remember the name of Pacal's mother and the beauty standards of that time. I tried to draw the temple complex in Palenque and the portrait of king Pakal. What is more it's a combination of a carved portrait and a jade funerary jewellery mask both founded in the crypt of the Temple of the Inscriptions. All of this has a direct connection to the game and the hieroglyphic puzzle.

I hope I've managed to capture the puzzle and love for this game. I also really hope to one day write a short review of Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto," which is also an interesting film with its representation of the indigenous Mayan people.
