Shes not a love rival.

She respected Haida’s decision and remained calm even after he rejected her/shut her down, and she was able to put her feelings aside so that they both could be happy, even if not with eachother.

Hell, like a decent being- she called the ambulance after Resuko was almost killed. She tried to talk sense into Haida at that time, she didn’t make any snarky comments, she just respected his decision, and remained like a decent human being in that situation, which is such a good thing to add in a show that is designed to hit close to home with that everyday life.

She didn’t fake her feelings around Haida, she stayed true to herself the entire season, and didn’t let her feelings get in the way of what was right and wrong in each situation.

To sum it up, please don’t put Inui as some sort of love rival, or a bad person. She’s a good character to learn off of.
