my entire life changed when my dentist told me that the only time my teeth should be touching is when i’m chewing. every single time my teeth are touching i have to separate them. and i noticed that i clench my teeth a LOT.

when your mouth is closed and your teeth are touching or held tightly together, you are unnecessarily straining muscles out of stress. the healthiest way to hold your jaw is slightly apart, where it is relaxed. THIS HELPS WITH HEADACHES

A reminder that turning in assignments for partial credit is better than not turning them in at all. It is. Even if you think you’ve done a bad job and are ashamed of your work, or it’s way overdue, you take whatever you can get. Partial credit dramatically improves your grade over a zero, and I’m always astounded by how often even the smartest kids don’t really comprehend that. 60% is worlds better than 0%. Even 10% is going to help you. Letter grades are misleading and are not created equal. “F"s are mathematically valuable. Turn that late assignment in.

if you’re disabled and taking a break from school or going part-time bc that’s all you can handle: i love you and i’m proud of you. sometimes it might feel like your peers are miles ahead of you, but you’re putting your health first and you should be proud of yourself for that! 

Maybe teens are seen as rebellious because they have become self-aware enough to question their parents’ actions, while younger children follow every command without question

I really love touching. It doesn’t always have to be in a sexual way, it could be like you sitting next to me and our knees touching a little or you putting your hand on my mine, little things like that mean so much to me and I crave it, all the fucking time, it drives me insane.

keep in mind puerto rico IS going through a humanitarian crisis, and the fact that recreational businesses and celebrities have pitched in more help than 45 is absolutely repulsive.

also, royal carribean is NOT the only cruise ship line that is helping Puerto Rico. Norwegian cruise line has donated $600,000 to help rebuild schools and the Carnival cruise line lended 11 ships to bring supplies to the carribean islands.…. as I mentioned, recreational businesses > the chief executive
