Rich Kidd, Tona & Adam Bomb - Naturally Born Strangers
Already a fan of Rich Kidd from his album 'In My Opinion' which included the classic 'Can I Get A (Bom Bom)'. So decided to give this project a listen and this I gotta a say this is a top quality mixtape. Once again Rich Kidd displays his mad talent as a rapper and a producer but the vocals from all three contributors are on point and I'm def gonna have to check out what the other two have been up to. Well worth koppin the mixtape here.

When I heard L'Orange & Stik Figa's The City Under The City was keen to listen to more Stik Figa. Came across this free compilation of some of Stik Figa's best tunes and had to give it a listen. Anyone associated with Mello Music Group, you know is going to have talent and Stik Figa def got a lot of that. Man's flow and wordplay is real nice and when you combine that with production from the likes of Oddisee and Apollo Brown you get some big tracks. Kop it here. Monochrome from the L'Orange project is still my favourite Stik Figa joint tho.

Rapper Big Pooh - Fat Boy Fresh 3.5
Hadn't heard Fat Boy Fresh 3 but saw this one with couple extra tracks added on by Pooh. Very nice project but expected no less from the Little Brother member. Don't Change shows he's looking to make the most of solo career and put his Little Brother days behind him. This album def shows that. So many dope tracks and couple nice features from Chaundon and King Mez. Pooh's kills it. Def worth koping here.

Just gave these two a listen for the first time and I gotta say I like what they're putting out. This project's got a southern influence throughout but the production gives it quite a unique sound. Very distinctive, got up-tempo bangers as well as more chilled tracks, especially like 'Paris Pen'. Well worth a listen. Kop it here.

When I saw this I knew this would be a dope project. El Prez on the mic and Jansport J on the boards. Unsurprisingly every single track was pretty nice and some sweet sampling throughout. Nice quote too from 2Pac at the end of Niggas In America. Kop it here.

Aaron Cohen - Potential Fans
Was a fan of Aaron Cohen's last project Murk and he released a video for the title track from this mixtape a while back, so was always gonna give this a listen. This mixtape has quite a few solid tracks on it and def a fan of how Aaron Cohen goes about his business. My Mother And My Music is smooth as fuck and Why You Mad For is a big beat with a nice feature from Grande Marshall. Kop it here.

Add-2 & Khrysis - Between Heaven & Hell
Add-2 had pretty much evaded my radar until I heard 'More Missed Calls' earlier on this year. Can see from what I posted about it that I was a fan of the project. He teams up with Khrysis on this one and with some help from 9th Wonder you pretty much know this is a hit from a lyrics and production point of view. The 'Ugly side of Beautiful' is a standout for me, really feel the beat. Kop it here.

When Don't Drink The Kool Aid dropped a while back I thought damn Denmark is pretty dope. Had to give his debut album a listen and have to say it is pretty nice. Good variety of beats and Denmark's flow and wordplay is impressive throughout. HoeininDaGaddaDaVida is a ridiculous track. Some blasphemous shit. Kop it here.
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - The Best Of...
Felt like listening to some old school hip-hop and know this two are big in the game. After listening to this compilation album of their greatest hits I can see why. All the beats are slick and the chilled-out ones are perfect for C.L. Smooth's style of rapping. Also can see how they shaped hip-hop with a few tracks being used as samples. Big album.
Yelawolf - Black Fall EP
This guy knows no other way than to just attack every beat and he does that on every single track on this EP. The hard hitting beats from DJ Paul suit his machine gun delivery perfectly and there's a nice feature from Rittz...and only good things happen when those two team up. Kop the EP here.

Always keen to see what Pro Era are upto and Nyck Caution teams up with BKLYNSTICKUP's Danse Dimes for this joint. This is straight fire from start to finish over and the video is pretty sick too. Funny how matching lyrics with photos can be so effective. Def worth checking out.
