yes! we also performed starmites in high school. we're just very big fans of berry keating's work and wanted to show some appreciation for it :D

after racecar's very looooooooong lore-full post, i thought i should post something a little more fun and silly; thus- starmites memes!

The three of us were in a production a little while ago so we are sorta using that one... I guess we're kinda tweaking some things we didn't like about it but we're mostly using that one!

Racecar 🏎️ here! Since it is the holiday season I was thinking about Starmites and their holidays and came up with the idea of a Starmites Christmas-like holiday (since they don't have Jesus in Innerspace!). Enter, Oragalamas!

Oragalamas is celebrated on the 5th day of Asteroidus (the 13th month in the Innerspace Calendar- another post on that will come later) which happens to fall on the 26th of December. That tends to be very useful for both Eleanor and Bizarbra in terms of adjusting to their new worlds.

Oragalamas celebrates the coming of Oragala and honoring the peace and harmony she gave Innerspace. Oragalamas is anticipated with a week of celebration known as Harmony Week in which the citizens of Innerspace decorate with a different color which eventually come together to form the Pyramid of Harmonious Color on Oragalamas.

The actual day of Oragalamas is mainly dominated by the Peace Ceremony which includes performances of The Coming Of Oragala (song and dance included). Giving to the less fortunate is also advocated for on Oragalamas (the Starmites are both big participants in the giving and the receiving as they are orphans and kinda needy).

A big feast is also had on Oragalamas. Depending on the planet you live on in Innerspace the feasts vary. On the planet of the Starmites and the Banshees their main dish is a big rodent-like animal found in the marshes that surround Shriekwood. They also have berry pie.

Gifts are exchanged during Oragalamas but often they are homemade as they show more sincerity towards peace and love. On the Starmites/Banshee planet it is also the only day the Starmites can approach Diva's Lair so they can leave their gift and pick up the one that the Banshees left them.

Those are the thoughts we came up with for Oragalamas but it is by no means an exhaustive list and we hope to think of more for it!! Also if you have any ideas feel free to pitch them our way, we really would like to hear some other ideas :))))
