gareth had plans. though, most of his plans were surrounded by his band. most of his plans revolved around eddie whenever he thought about it. they were both supposed to get out of this town together. hopefully in 1987 whenever he was finally free from the clutches of hawkins high. a part of him just wanted to drop out. though, a part of him knew that eddie wouldn’t like that. eddie tried his best to graduate and now—… his nose wrinkles at the thought. where was eddie now? would they ever figure out how to clear his name? uninjured fingers run through messy curls, a huff leaving him. he hadn’t realized he was holding his breath. his chest ached. tongue darts out to wet his lips, faint taste of blood from his healing split lip hitting his tongue. “yeah but if he did that to me, what do you think he’ll do to dustin? he’s just a kid—…” yeah, there was no shaking the guilt he felt. “i should have just let him break my hand.”
she only fears what could happen. hawkins had a small town mindset and if jason had anything to say about it, it wouldn’t be long before the other residents start looking for eddie. that, and anyone else involved in protecting him. kat wonders how long it would take her mom and john to join in. they would do anything to keep up their perfect image. ❛ he won’t get the chance . if dustin was looking for eddie, then he must know that he’s being wanted for murder right now. he’s a smart kid. ❜ she didn’t know the kid personally, but her shit face brother did. and from what she’s heard, dustin’s not an idiot. kat presses joined hands to her lips for a moment, then dropping them to rest against her thighs. ❛ what would make you feel better? ❜
