I wear my nails painted everywhere. The only negativity I’ve gotten is here online from a couple anonymous people. Even then it was just troll behavior.

I get a lot of compliments from people in public. Once in a drive through there was a kid working at the window, when I handed him my card he noticed my nails and asked the same things you’re asking. I told him pretty much the same thing, that I don’t get any trouble for it and actually get positive feedback. He was very interested in trying it out himself, but was still in school and nervous about kids being rude assholes. I told him to try it out over summer break to see how he likes it. He liked that idea.

I think many guys are interested in trying it but they need to see it’s okay first. Definitely give it a try, even if it’s a baby step and doing just your thumb.
