I broke my Ipad. Dammit. Swipe to six to see the smashed screen. Now say that three times over. I was on day 3 of clipping practice ( bike pedals that clip on your shoes ) when I decided to bring my Ipad for a short outdoor drawing sesh. Thinking that I was getting the hang of it, I forgot to clip off my right foot and fell. Pinning the ipad underneath a series of other items, I accidentally punctured the LCD screen. That dreaded feeling that money will come flying out of my account hit. A limited warranty can only get you so far so If you’ve got extra bucks for apple care, avail it. But not to fret. I have my old Ipad with me still. 5th slide is the screen comparison. From working on the 12.9 inch to a 9.7 inch, the main differences are - - the number of layers I can work on - the LCD brightness (looks duller compared) - speed of navigating through procreate This will be the last (for now) of the ‘Sit With Me’ series where out characters look solemn, calculating and reminiscent. ‘Sit With Me’ series presents #huntlow Requested by @just_a_short_beaner As I’ve said in a few posts back, this series is reaching its end. Back from a digital detox retreat. 🥰 We stayed in a small cottage for a few nights. No internet. No signal. Nothing but nature and time. Ate tasty vegan breakfast. Trekked with a trusty wooden walking stick I named ‘Stiff’. Stumbled upon a beautiful buddhist praying grounds where I meditated and almost dozed off. Fed and walked alpacas, donkeys and a couple of beautiful horses. Reminiscing an analogue childhood where reading, drawing and playing board games was your entertainment. Now I wish I wasn’t so reliant and addicted to my phone. 😋 It was such a great reset. I highly recommend trying it and see who you become when you’re 100% unplugged. Bros. Drawing everyday when you got three cats, a house, a wife and yourself to take care of, you soon find that it isn’t ideal. 🤣 And that’s on top of working from home with three jobs to balance. No shade. Honestly, I’m really living my best life with the help of antidepressants and therapy 🥰 With that personal nugget out of the way, I’m excited to feature these two brotherly figures coming to terms with their own traumas and mental issues. Seriously, #toh are showing such great examples that mental health for the younger generations are something I’d really like to see. 👀 Hope you like this one!
