Getting in some practice pulling prints off this linocut. I need to find something better for burnishing. Closer and closer. This detail stuff eats up a ton of time. I'm ok with that though, "one foot in front of the other" is about all that concerns me. Pace is something I set and I try not to feel any pressure to set it any faster than I have to. I really like how old coffee grinders look. Someday I'd really like make my own custom design. I bet it'd be a lot of fun to make. Plus it's got a couple disciplines involved so you'd get to wear a few hats while working on it. Well on to inking this one. Coffee is all gone and this one is all done. I think it'll look pretty cool with a splash of color. This all just a warm up for doing a block print landscape. Getting there. Next comes some hatching, perhaps even some cross hatching. We'll see I don't want to get too ahead of myself. Wish I had brought some markers for this. I really need to re-do my travel watercolor setup in all honesty though. Markers are great but I can only carry so many on me at once!
