you know what i find frustrating? when people complain about romance plots in shows only when they include women…………”oh the hets are at it again” almost always translates to “oh there’s a woman in the middle of my white guy ship and i dont want her to be there” which then creates the “female characters don’t need love interests!!!! stop reducing them to romantic subplots! they are too good and Strong to be with this guy” or “this woman is definitely a lesbian so get her away from these two white guys who i conveniently ship together while not shipping said lesbian with anyone because it doesn’t matter as long as shes over there somewhere away from white guy ship”
