in the past weeks and months I have realised how much Auguste and Laurent have become my very own characters.

This development is not surprising. I have filled notebooks and countless documents in solitude and created my own timeline, character ideas, have added completely new characters, have given existing characters backstories, have created relationship dynamics, world building ideas, plotlines and drawings for these two.

These characters and the world their story is set in now diverge significantly from the canon(s) that inspired them.

Therefore I have decided to open a new blog for these two which I will henceforth treat as my own characters and rename. I am aware that not everybody that follows me here will be interested in that, thats why I will move this to an other blog — the current blog will not become entirely inactive though, as I may post now and again —

I am happy to invite whomever it may interest to follow me on my new blog as I share ideas and art and fics for these two as my own characters — yes, they will still look the same, still be blood brothers and still be entirely wholesome and consensual :)

As I said before; I hope to one day close the desideratum of consensual homosexual sibcest in the fantasy genre or at least contribute to it.

I want to thank everyone who has interacted with my content, who has continuously created content for Laurent/Auguste and who has (at times) defended; supported, inspired and accepted me in the fandom 💗

Hennike’s marriage to Aleron was a forced/arranged political marriage and as such the two never found to each other.

Aleron didn’t make Hennike feel at home in Arles, she was ostracised by court nobles as an outsider due to her kemptian ancestry.

all in all, Hennike’s health deteriorated after her marriage to Aleron. Especially during her pregnancy and Auguste’s birth Hennike was in poor health more or less continuously.

as Auguste grew up, his mother leant on him for emotional support due to her husband being unavailable for most things. This massively overwhelmed young Auguste but he tried harder and harder to step in for his father the more difficult it got.
