Evaluation Task 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?
When we first defined our perfekt audience member, we said they would smart casual clothes, which I am shure is beeinge adressed by the way our main actress is dressed. The jeans and the jumper make her look relaxed but not neglected and the things surrounding her like a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone are commonly used by many of our audience members.
EVALUATION TASK 3: What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Evaluation Task 2: How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The upper picture is from the Movie Mean Girls and the bottom picture is from our movie. The position in which both girls are lying in embodies a really feminin and girly touch and thats what we were trying to do, so the young female audience members would be able to relate well. We decided however that our main actress should be wearing jeans and a jumper as well as the colorful socks and not that stereotypical pink outfit that girls wear in a lot of movies to make it seem more realistic and won´t turn away the male audience members.

Evaluation Task 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
The title of the film –It´s the bottom right picture in our template. We decided to put it at the end of the clip as it would attract the audience as well as would make them courious of what is going to happen next. Our choise of the design was made that way as it appears very happy, cheerful and `teenage´. Adolecent’ in a yellow-green colour, and ‘… the movie’ in white as if to add a emphasis that it is a movie and will attract the audience to encourage them to go and watch it.
The setting- The good example of our setting is the middle picture in the top line. It portrays a beautiful view and the sourroundings of a house in the countryside with a small football goal that sets the mood for the next scene already. Later on the shot also gets an emphasizig effect and makes it clear what the daughter, who is focused on her laptop, tablet and phone, is missing out on when she is inside. The setting in the girls bedroom was than tried to be kept very girly, with colourful drapes hanging around as well as the rather little details such as the girly wallpaper of the laptop or ipad as well the quite feminine tune coming out of the headphones.
The costumes- Our choice of costumes was meant to be realisticly casual. The son was meant to wear a sporty outfit, that he is in his tracksuit bottoms, and the father wearing a `day to day´outfit of someone living in the countryside (barbourjacket). As the costumes are a important part of the movie and how the family is beeing characterised. Our aim was to make the family seem very natural and realistic. The character of `Tatti´, is wearing casual jeans and a jumper, expressing a feminine look as well as the casual outfit of a teenage girls would wear at home.
The camera work and editing- We tried to use as many diffrent shots as possible in our movie in order to make it exciting and interesting. We used long shots, medium-long shots, static as well as tracking shots to keep the eye as well as the brain entertained as well as focused. Most of our filming was done without a tripod as this made it easier to capture the images in the right ways.
Font and style- Our chosen font was Futura Medium for all our titles to ensure, it is clear and easy to read. We also decided on that font as it seemed to to be appealing to peopel of all age groups.
Story/Narrative- Our story shows the life of an average teenage girl aged around 15/16 years of age. Our clip makes it immediately clear who the main character is, as well as her problems with her family, and reluctance to interact with them. The title at the end of the clip gives a clear indication what the film is going to be about. The title adolescents also gives a clear hint of who the movie is aimed at.
Genre and suggestions of it- The genre of an independent can easily be identified by common electrical items such as pink headphones, colourful drapes as well as girly bedsheets etc., as they are common items and don´t require a particular sized budget. Another way that this can be figured out is by looking at the motions of the father tryiing to get the daughter to come outside as well as the reaction/rejection of the daughter which would than be another way in which a certain audience could be attracted.
Characters:
The son: He seems to be in a really happy mood and his relationship to his Dad (playing football, tackling him etc.) seems very good as well.
The father: He seems to have a very good relation with his son and can be described as caring as well as hard working, nice and normal. As he is asking his daughter to come outside and is beeing declined the audience will be able to gather that he won´t be happy about that.
The teenage daughter: She seems to be the stereotype of a moody teenage girl that might need to get her priorities right and need to realize that the virtual world is not the real life. She is wearing normal, casual clothing. By showing her sending the message to a friend saying ``OMG my family is so annoying´´ , the girl is meant to be shown as ignorant and a bit arrogant. Many female members of the same age in our audience will be able to relate to that.
Special FX- As our movie is a independent movie we didn´t really use any very special effects. We only changed the colours in the clips as well as we stabilized some of the clips so it would look a lot more smoothly. As we were filming handheld we weren´t able to hold the camera that steady.
This is our final movie. It´s called ‘Adolecent…the movie’ . Our targeted audience will be able to relate to that quite well as we are portraying a insight view of what the movie is about.
ROUGH EDIT
This is our rough edit. After we got feedback of our movie we noticed it would need to be longer, as well as producer and editor names still need to be put in. We also noticed that the soundtrack doesn´t fit perfectly yet and we will have to improve on that as well.
RISK ASSESMENT
Whilst producing a movie there are mnay dangers that could cause propblems to spot those we did a risk assesment.
1. When the two characters run down the stairs whilst exiting the house there is a risk of tripping and falling. To prevent this, they will be wearing steady shoes and the surface of the steps will be dry.
2. Whilst playing football there is a risk of our cast injuring one other. The cast will be informed of this and play at their own risk.
3. Our female cast member could get her hand caught in the window whilst closing it. We will inform her of this risk and take an extra precaution when closing/ looking out the window.
4. We had to make sure out cast knew that there was a road nearby the location, and to watch out for cars whilst collecting the ball.

LOCATION SHOTS
We choase that location as it has got a nice landscape. As well as some accents that will give the movie a certain touch. We also picked a certain room as the chosan one would allow us to film the action happening outside from a point from inside the room.
We choase a pop soundtrack as the sound which is coming out of her headphones as it is rather girly and is able to support more than one mood
For the main music we choase a soundtrack which is quite upbeat and great to support a good mood

New Story Line
Here is a story arc for our film, with what happens throughout the whole film.
In the first scene we are going to have a landscape shot whith the name of our production company.
Than we will catch two children playing football enjoying them selves.
Whilst they are outside infront of a house the camera goes inside the house filming the teenage daughter lying/sitting on her bed on her phone texting.
Than the mother motions the daughter to come outside
Girl than smiles, shuts the curtains

NEW Moodboard
Changes of our original Idea
As we realised our movie Idea wouldn´t be ideal for our chosan genre we were thinking in which way we would be able to adjust our idea so it would be fitting than. What we also noticed is that the focus in our movie so far, was on the character and would therefor not relate to the right audience member.
We figured out we´d have to change the music, add a different character and change the focus onto that caracter than as well asother little details of the movie.
This will require a bit of work to reproduce those bits that are affected from the blog.
