in bg 3, she's voice 8 & i keep to that. etiquette & tutoring saw her lose her accent in favour of something "refined". athkatla & amn it has a catalan accent, & that's what you hear outside of rarefied circles. i do not speak catalan, so i use spanish (peninsular) to stand in for amnian common.

The Hero of Ferelden, they're calling her, a lofty title that blots out her name, her face, like the sun's harsh rays. Everyone wants to know how the Hero of Ferelden did it -- how she survived, what was it like, will you kiss my baby and sever this political tie for me? Others are quick to turn their noses up at a mage being a savior, a blood mage at that (though that is less likely known, as she swallows down her indignance. Soon enough. Soon enough, she'll be able to make her studies known.)

She wants none of it, despite it being "her" party; she should, for all that her fingers itch for power. For all that she knows she has the capability to wield it well. Another day. She steps over to the great windows, watching the setting sun peel away from the stained glass. Guinevere turns in surprise, ready to snap at the soft sound of footsteps drawing near. Her lips fall open in surprise at the woman's compliment. It rings differently, like they're sharing in a secret, the two of them against the rest of the grand hall.

Guinevere looks at her gown, a simple white, beaded by a Chantry sister. It seems like since she left the Circle, all she's done is wear armor. The gown makes her feel.. different. She isn't sure what kind of different it is. Guinevere puts the image of Andraste out of her mind as she offers @chaostides a smile, careful peeling the layers back, poking her head out from under the mantle. She wishes she had ale more than anything at the moment to feed the fuzz in her brain.

"I should like to hear more of these compliments, if you're so free and truthful with them." A playful jest, willing to see where this conversation might take her. Give in, just like the Joining, just like everything else. Guinevere gestures to the great double doors. "Care to step outside?"
