    her eyes fall to her wife’s hands once more. she notices red – and something odd just stirs within her. no, fuck THIS. Nadia moves forward and grabs fistfuls of the woman’s shirt, before slamming her back against the wall. 

“tell. me. now.” 

     a familiar and usually welcomed feeling jolts through her as her back hits the wall, and her head falls back as well, resting against the hard surface as she lets her gaze move to seek out nadia’s own.

          BLUE EYES. 

that’s just it, the blank space on alice’s finger should’ve been the perfect excuse to disappear for good. but it is NOT. instead, it just…. fucking hurts. this is making her even more angrier now.

‘don’t. don’t do that.’ the words were hissed vehemently. ‘just fucking spit it out. why do you stay?’

       alice falls silent, unaware that her nails are digging into the skin of her hand as she stands, quiet and meek, gaze falling to the floor at nadia’s feet. how did you not notice it was gone, alice? she swallows hard, only realizing when a small drop of blood falls to the floor that her nails have broken her own skin. 

         always catching alice’s somewhat subtle reactions.          why does she still watch that fucking perfect face –          she will never know. unless she already does.            — oh, what?            a lash of her tongue in demand. 

       don’t get too excited.         a flick of her eyes down to Alice’s finger —        just searching for a reason, and failing. 

         ‘ – because I need to be able to say I don’t fucking need you.’

              oh, it’s nothing important.               don’t worry your pretty little head, miss wonderland.

        something like a scoff.               then i’d say go cry me a river —         not like it wouldn’t heal anyway. 

      just a stare for one hella long moment.            …if the knife didn’t cut your ass –                  then yes, I’m still mad.
