Mikey’s war medal this time resembles an AA sobriety chip. Usually, silver ones are meant for 24 hour sobriety but I think the medal is silver just so it matches the rest of the look

Sure, he looks like even more of a nerd now, but at least he can see. He doesn't know it, but he looks really cute with glasses. They're the thin framed ones that are sort of square and rest perfectly on his nose, accentuating pretty much ever feature on his face.

The glasses make him look like a nerd, which in turn makes him 10x hotter (if that was even possible)

~~~ sigh. If I had known however many years ago that my vision would go from perfect to ABSOLUTE SHIT in like. less than a decade. I would have eaten more carrots :(

Hesh and you would watch movies before bed. He doesn't care what kind, horror, romance, comedy, etc. (his favorite are romcoms but only you know that so don't go around telling people)

If you fall asleep then thats it. You're both sleeping on the couch tonight I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He'd pull a blanket over the both of you and put an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer to him.

One of his favorite things is when you're both watching a horror movie and you flinch, or jump, or scream and he gets to tease you by pulling you into a hug saying,

"Aww, did that scare you? Don't worry, I'll keep you safe."

"Oho, and you said you this one wasn't scary."

And if he jumps? Tease. him. Get back at him, please, he needs humbling. His ego is through the roof when he's around you.

(more that he's trying to impress you in that silly boyish way that is so uniquely Hesh <3 He would square up with a bear as long as you smiled at him after)

If you didn't fall asleep on the couch, then he carries you to bed. No negotiations. And he reads whatever you want him to, or he'd just talk to you. About literally everything, such things could include:

a really fat squirrel he saw while taking Riley on a walk

A license plate that said "1EATD1RT"

going to the beach back in Washington, and how different it was from the beach in San Diego.

That he only just recently learned that fish don't blink
