Belle and the Chipped Cup

-OPEN to Anyone-

"Okay, I’ll try not to be worried." She said walking up to the doors of the library. "Thank you for helping me here. Some kids just don’t know how to act anymore." She smiled and opened the door getting ready to walk in. "Would you like to come in with me?" She asked softly.

Jefferson tapped a couple of fingers on his chin as if he was truly thinking about the request. “I suppose I could spare a few minutes of my time.” He answered with a smile and followed her in. 

She walked over to her desk and stood there for a minute. "So, Jefferson, how do you like your class?" She smiled and grabbed a couple books to put away. "I just sit in here all day long and I get very bored. No one really comes in to talk to the librarian."

-OPEN to Anyone-

  "Thank you." She blushed. "And it’s very nice to meet you James Morgan." She laughed a little. "You can come into the library anytime and read. I’m always there unless I am to take books to another classroom."

It didn’t escape Killian’s notice that the librarian was quite pretty… and there was something about her eyes that jarringly reminded him of Milah’s, but he tried not to think about it. “When I’m not teaching, grading exams or having to deal with students who have earned a detention… yes, I might just have to say hello to you next time I come to read. It’s a rather nice collection. So many interesting books. Do you have any favorites?”

She smiled at him. "I love them all. Books are a way to new lands, I just don't have a favorite." She walked over to the door. "I should be heading back to the library now. You can accompany me if you like." She opened the door and walked out waiting for him. He was a very sweet guy and he had a way with his words..

-OPEN to Anyone-

  She smiled and walked in before him. “I’m Belle.” She replied. “What about you kind sir?” She sat down her books and took the ones from him placing them next to her pile. “I’ve never seen you come into the library before.”

"Thank you." She blushed. "And it's very nice to meet you James Morgan." She laughed a little. "You can come into the library anytime and read. I'm always there unless I am to take books to another classroom."

-OPEN to Anyone-

She smiled. “Good, I’m glad you guys are happy here.” She continued walking and looked at Jefferson. “You seem a little out of it. Are you okay Jefferson?” She was concerned.

At first Jefferson didn’t catch her question. He was lost in his own world once again. It seemed to be happening more often. “Huh?” He questioned when he noticed her looking at him with a face of concern. “Oh, I’m fine. Do not worry for me, Belle.”

She giggled at his remarks. “Well, then lets go then.” She started walking along with him. “How is Grace doing. She comes in occasionally to get books. But she doesn’t talk to me much since I’m just the librarian.” She laughed a little but kept walking.

Jefferson walked with her, making sure to keep her pace. He also eyed the hallway. He didn’t want any other students running into Belle. “She’s well. I think she really likes it here.” He shrugged his shoulders. “It’s constant, and I’m actually in one place. No more portals.” He looked away for a moment. He missed his old life, but this school was better for Grace, and she was the only thing that mattered in his life.

She smiled. "Good, I'm glad you guys are happy here." She continued walking and looked at Jefferson. "You seem a little out of it. Are you okay Jefferson?" She was concerned.

-OPEN to Anyone-

  Belle walked with him down the hallway. “Maybe you should teach your kids to be more humble. Like you.” She stopped in front of the classroom and opened the door. “You can go in first or I can take the books you have and let you be on your way.” She smiled slightly. “It’s up to you. You seem pretty busy, so I won’t want to keep you longer than what I have if you don’t want too.”

She smiled and walked in before him. "I'm Belle." She replied. "What about you kind sir?" She sat down her books and took the ones from him placing them next to her pile. "I've never seen you come into the library before."

-OPEN to Anyone-

"I’m fine thank you." She smiled starting to pick up the books. "How have you been Jefferson? You don’t come to the library very much." She continued to pick up the books and stood when she was done. "I was just about to take these books back to the library from a class that used them. Would you like to accompany me back to the library?" She asked sweetly.

"Ah, yes, I’m avoiding you, promise." He chuckled lightly and placed his left hand over his heart. "I’ve been having to spend more time alone. Things have been difficult, but I push through. Grace likes it here after all." He stood up with her, a small pile in his hands. "Now, what kind of man would I be if I didn’t help a damsel in distress?" 

She giggled at his remarks. "Well, then lets go then." She started walking along with him. "How is Grace doing. She comes in occasionally to get books. But she doesn't talk to me much since I'm just the librarian." She laughed a little but kept walking.

-OPEN to Anyone-

  She looked up and smiled at the man in front of her. “I was taking them to a classroom that needed them.” She smiled with a slight laugh from his comment. “I do enjoy reading though. Just not this many books at one time.” She continued picking up books and stood once she was done. She fixed her outfit and looked at him. “Thank you for helping me. Some kids just don’t know chivalry anymore.” She put out her hands. “I can take those books now and I will be on my way. Unless you would like to help me take these to the room down the hallway there?”

Jefferson watched as a student basically trampled over Belle, wincing when she saw her precious books tumble to the ground. “Ah, students. However, are we going to teach them proper library behavior?” He walked over as he spoke, kneeling at the small pile assisting the librarian. “You okay, Belle?” He mumbled. 

"I'm fine thank you." She smiled starting to pick up the books. "How have you been Jefferson? You don't come to the library very much." She continued to pick up the books and stood when she was done. Belle bit her lip and looked at her curiously. “Have you met someone that you are in love with?” She was very curious now and stood beside the stool. “I’ve been in love once before.” She smiled to herself and looked at the top shelf to see what book she was getting.

"Oh, no." Miyako instantly remarked. "I am much too young to fall in love." Nor did she want to. She laughed lightly, and plucked a book from the shelf. Turning it in her hands so she could read its spine. The Myth of True Love was in worn silver type. She glanced back at Belle, watching as she bit her lip. Interesting. She thought to herself. With a little hop, Miyako was back on the ground, clutching the book to her chest. “I just happen to be curious. According to legends, true love is the most powerful magic in existence.” 

"Oh it is." Belle smiled. She picked up the stool and walked back to her desk. "True love is something that everyone must see for it to happen. to them." She sat down and entered her computer. "Come here, let me check that out for you." She smiled wide and put out her hand.

  "That’s okay, if you need my step stool, you may borrow it." Belle grinned happily and took it around to her. "May I ask what you are researching?" She was very curious and not many people come in the library. She set up the stool for her.

Miyako’s eyes twinkled with mischief. The research she was conducting actually had nothing to do with class, but for her own personal reasons. She looked up at the shelf, as if thinking for an answer, then stepped up onto the stool. “I’m studying the power of true love.” She casually replied. Figuring that the librarian wouldn’t be able to resist the topic. 

Belle bit her lip and looked at her curiously. "Have you met someone that you are in love with?" She was very curious now and stood beside the stool. "I've been in love once before." She smiled to herself and looked at the top shelf to see what book she was getting.

Miyako smiled at the librarian. Belle, she was fairly certain her name was.  ”Hello,” she politely greeted. “Sorry for the noise, I was having a problem getting this book from the shelf. It always seems like the best books for research are the hardest to retrieve.” 

"That's okay, if you need my step stool, you may borrow it." Belle grinned happily and took it around to her. "May I ask what you are researching?" She was very curious and not many people come in the library. She set up the stool for her.
