Uma’s eyebrows rose, a hand set firm on her hip. Yes, she definitely didn’t understand what the girl was doing, but she wouldn’t judge her. Each to their own, after all. She took a small step back as the monkey ran onto the beach with another shell, as if possibly afraid of the creature, ❛ It’s diving for them? ❜ The teal-haired girl asked, trying to understand exactly what was happening; knowing was your best defence, after all. The more she knew and understood the more she could protect herself against.
“Yes,” she smiled at the other, looking down at the shells on the beach, a lot of them that remained were broken, or something stuck to them, or another shell stuck to it. “Which is more odd? That a monkey can swim, or that it can fly?” She watched as Jinx ran out of the water, taking a moment at the towel to dry off the shell before he ran to her. “I have a jar of seaweed, its still alive. I just transplanted it into a jar of water. Well, Jinx here did the work, I told him how.”
