Longing

uno is turning five this year. he’s so big that whenever we go outside and encounter people, the most common comment we get is “my god he is so big isn’t he?” and i kind of like that he’s bigger than standard Shih Tzus because that makes it so easy to put my arms around him, he’s my personal bear, my personal guardian angel. I could write a thousand poems about how much I adore him and all his little quirks, I’m thankful everyday that we got the chance to adopt him and make him feel so so loved

last month, we adopted another dog, a puppy named queenie. she had a few rough days when she came home because her immune system weakened and we had to hospitalize her. thankfully though she managed to pull through. it’s been almost a month since we got her, she’s a feisty sassy little thing, she terrorizes uno but uno just ignores her haha. I like when they’re sitting side by side or sleeping next to each other, they’re such a contrast of a duo, him too big while she’s the smallest little pup. uno has a dark coat while queenie’s white with hints of brown
