I had a place for you in my heart despite everything. All we had to do was weather the storm and stay loyal long enough to rebuild what was broken. Instead, every chance I gave became another reason to let go.

You hit me with every low blow possible, then got mad when I stopped being the same person. Pain changes people… especially multiple betrayals from someone you loved for real.

I think what hurts the most isn’t losing the relationship… it’s losing access to the everyday moments with my daughter that once felt normal. Now every call feels like permission instead of parenthood.
