What got you into drawing in the first place?
Equestria girls and pure, raw simping for the Disney version of Captain Hook during my middle school years. I wish I was joking.
What makes you ship Mari and Bowser together? I’m getting an opposites attract vibe from them.
That’s the kinda vibe I was going for with these two, as I love me some opposite attract tropes in my media, but I also like to think of them as like a Yin and Yang sorta relationship. One kinda fits the puzzle piece for another, so to speak.
Bowser provides an explosive energy and excitement that pushes Marianne to try new things (maybe be the little devil on her shoulder) and come out of her shell (lmao) a little more as a up-and-coming leader of her kingdom.
Marianne provides a gentle, calming stability that Bowser desperately needs, allowing him to be vulnerable and teach him to express his big feelings in a less destructive way and nudge in the right direction without completely changing who he is.
They’re wildly different in every way, but they somehow make it work by being what the other needs.

I imagine it in either two ways:
He’s like “Hell yeah, I could potentially have a mom again” and calls Marianne mom even when she and Bow are still dating, which would be so fricking cute
Or
If we go off from the movie, he’s got that attitude that a kid would get when your single parent starts introducing someone new into their life and the kid starts to have a one-sided rivalry for the parent’s attention. But, we hope for the kid to eventually warm up to the partner and accept them into the family.
Bottom line, he’d think she’s weird, but he’d lowkey vibe with it because who the hell isn’t weird these days.
