shifting a clock, which is man made by an hour does not actually decrease or increase the amount of daylight. If the sun rises at 7:00 and goes down at 8, and we move the clock an hour back so it rises at 6 and goes down at 7, it's the exact same amount of daylight?

Yes, now people who get up at 6 will now have daylight, but that does not mean there is more light. Yes there is less daylight in December than there is in June, that is because of the way the earth sits on its axis and rotates around the sun. I'm not denying that.

I got back with my ex for the 3rd time 💀

Annnnnd were dating until he leaves in less than a month to serve his mission because he's Mormon.

I'm not. And we miscommunicated so I thought he was okay with me not being a member and that we'd make it work long term. But he changed his mind on it.

So now I'm in a weird position, I've started listening to the book of Mormon because it won't hurt anything. I go to a Bible study every week just because I believe it's good info to have for the sake of understanding those around me, especially in the Bible belt.
