I went through Royalty Free Christmas Songs and gathered up a bunch of quotes to write a simple Ghiblibible. I only wrote 6 fun Ghiblib facts but a LOT of quotes, so I will put most under the cut.
1) Ghiblib can not eat, sleep, walk, or die, but he CAN get drunk. He also smells like Christmas.
- “I dont know I'm drunk!” (5), “Heres a fun Christmas riddle! I can not physically eat food, yet I hunger all the time, what am I? ...Does anyone know? Please, someone tell me what I am, all I see is darkness.” (6), “I'm covered in bed sores, yet I can not sleep. What a puzzle I am!” (7), “My body is a flesh sack that smells like Christmas” (7), “My wounds! My gaping wounds! How they ooze with excitement!” (9), “Heres a fun riddle for you: What has hundreds of toes... but no feet? Thats right its me! My body is covered in toes, yet I can not walk. What beautiful irony!” (9)
2) The human singer is also Ghiblib or at least puppetted by him.
- “Heres one I just made up on the spot" (1), “Heres a song I totally didnt just make up like three minutes ago” (2), “ I made some pretty cool Royalty Free Fortnite Dances that will never get you in trouble!” (5)
3) He has attempted to die or earn forgiveness, but he can not. He's been to hell, but he got kicked out for being cringe.
- “I pray every night, but death will not come” (6), “I beg for forgiveness but these chains only get tighter!” (6), “People always say death is the worst thing, but I promise its not!” (8), “I've seen Hell! I know what Hell looks like! They kicked me out for being too cringe!” (8), “I think I'm immortal, but I keep aging. Imagine! My flesh sags more and more every year, but death would be too good for me!” (9)
4) His songs are a curse.
- “All of my songs are crimes against God, have another!” (4), “No one really knows where my royalty free christmas songs come from, some say they are gifts from the demon [REVERSED AND LOWERED SPEECH], but I like to think they're from the North Pole” (5), “My songs are Royalty Free, I have thousands of them and I have to get rid of them all otherwise the spell won't break” (6), “My songs simply should not be... and yet here they are!” (6), “My songs! My wicked rotten songs are yours! I pass the curse unto you.” (7)
5) His songs are not just religiously wrong, but also against the law. He was theoretically in jail for 5, 6, and 7, but they not only let him keep making songs, they *only* let him keep making songs, implying this may have not been real law enforcement. (This might have actually been hell and him being freed a year early was him being kicked out for being too cringe, but thats just a theory, a films theory, thanks for watching)
- “We got so many Christmas songs it should be illegal! And it is!” (3), “They finally found me. You pigs will never take me alive! You pigs will never take me alive!” (4), “Its Royalty Free Christmas Songs 5. Only three more til my parole!” (5), “Its so dark in here I have forgotten what light is.” (7), “This is the only time of year they let me speak, I still don't know who they are. What kind of God would allow this? I love Christmas!” (7), “I'm free! I'm finally free!” (8)
6) His true name is not pronounceable by humans, but his normal boy name is Ghiblib The Christmas Demon
- “I have forgotten my true name!” (6), “I finally remembered my true name, but it can not be pronounced with a human tongue.” (7), “I finally remember my name! I'm Ghiblib The Christmas Demon and I know all your sins! Your terrible sins, they're what keep me alive!” (8)
