I realized I haven't really drawn pre joker Arthur before (except maybe a couple of small sketches here and there) so I thought I'd remedy that.

That's a little better. Too dark on the shirt though, I couldn't find the right teal this time.

Rise and Fall of The Great Red Dragon

Francis Dolarhyde from the book Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. One of the best characters ever written in my opinion. Even with as evil and horrible and scary as he is, you still manage to feel for him, and that's very hard to do right. He somehow toes the line between being a pure evil monster and a sympathetic tragic figure without it at all feeling forced or shallow.
