She has more scars than dreams

So I drank one, it became four, and when I fell on the floor I drank more. Nothing has changed, I still love you, I still love you.

I don’t think I’d be able to stop myself on loving him because if I am, I already did. This is an old news but, I still love this person. He’s that someone that I won’t be able to forget, his face and his voice are engraved in my mind. The letters that translate his name will always be familiar to me wherever I go. My memories with him are vivid and I don’t think will fade. In the future, if I’ve given a chance to meet him in a place that we’ve never been, and we have our lives completely different – better on what we’ve lived before, I’d wholeheartedly take that chance and won’t think twice. Because maybe our love story isn’t meant to work in this time, in this place. Maybe, we’re only meant to know each other’s soul but not destined to be together. Maybe, we still need a little bit of waiting for that day, where we can finally continue what we had and fill another blank page of ours again. Together.

Maybe we feel empty because we leave pieces of ourselves in everything we used to love.
