H&L Adventures

In all entirety of my being, I cannot find the words to fully express how much I love you. But, as surely as the sun rises, I will always love you. As softly as the rain falls, so too will my love be. And like the rivers that find their way back to the oceans, so too will my love be for you.

Discovering her was like the anticipation of opening a present and yet unlike a present, it wouldn't be all presented at once. It was like the finale of a grand night, with fireworks lighting up the sky, yet it was only the beginning. The heart-pumping, goosebump-inducing, miraculous feeling of discovering that every single word that comes from her, be it by text or by mouth, intoxicates you until you are asphyxiated, struggling to breathe, too excited by the discovery. The best thing was, the discovery never ended, everyday was a new beginning, a new discovery. That's when you know you've found the one.

And in the simplest of moments, I discovered another side of her, a side where the afternoon sun gently falls upon her face and lights up her eyes, making them glow a hazel colour, lighting up her face as she smiles sleepily towards me. Another side to fall in love with, at first sight of course.

Then there are those days, when you’re with her, when nothing really matters but the breeze and how it makes her hair float in the wind, and you called those days green because it was her favourite colour and everything in your world was hers. Hers and hers only.

I love her laugh, the way it sounds, the way everything feels like it's going to be just perfect, the way it takes my breath away and makes me gasping for what is not air, but for her very presence.

When I think of her, I think of moonlight walks, of falling autumn leaves, of a soothing spring breeze, because her beauty lies within the silence of the night, the colours amidst the trees, and the serenity upon the wind. Because I get to hold her hand, look into her eyes and be at peace, in every single one of our moments together.
