i have been at war with myself over tossing my old journals... my brain tells me if i croak that people will inevitably read them so i'm like destroy obviously BUT what if i wanna relive those times

so many things i still wanna do..... how do i force my brain and body to start

i have been sitting and just staring at everything i want to do but i literally feel paralyzed... where do i start... i want to start sewing, but i also have a collage i want to do, but wait i should doodle (then let's get frustrated because they look like shit), OH but also i need to go on a walk and take pictures, wait wait wait, i now need to plan a photoshoot with someone... i think one reason why i get so paralyzed and hesitant with creating is the perfectionism piece. if i think other people will not understand or like it i don't want to do it. WHO CARES. CREATE SHITTY ART, CREATE FREELY, DON'T FEAR CRITICISM, DON'T FEAR PEOPLE DISLIKING YOUR WORK, ART IS LOVE, ART IS INDIVIDUALISTIC, ART IS WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE!!!!
