You’re matured enough if you can hold back your tears and fake a smile in the most difficult phase of your life.

Don’t wait for it…Create a world, your world. Alone. Stand alone. Create. And then the love will come to you, then it comes to you.

When you love and accept yourself, when you know who really cares about you, and when you learn from your mistakes, then you stop caring about what people who don’t know you think.

I think a lot of times we don’t pay enough attention to people with a positive attitude because we assume they are naive or stupid or unschooled.

Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.

‘What’s the most embarrassing thing about you?’ you asked. It was hard to just pick one. Sure, I was a little clumsy and yes I stuttered, but neither of those things seemed to be the right answer.  ‘It’s the fact that I paint a picture of a black hollow heart when in reality it is whole and sensitive. It’s the fact that I go to sleep at night - a bitter agnostic - who still prays for the world to get better and for strangers to be happy. The most embarrassing thing about me is that I pretend to be something I’m not and I still end up hurt in the process. How naive is that?

I think one of my favorite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way through how much you enjoy them and their existence.

Be honest about your intentions with everything. You never want to build any type of relationship on lies. That foundation will always fail.
