When you realize that your insecurities were valid. That you weren't loved, wanted and cared about how you thought. Its pretty devastating honestly. But there is a lesson in all experiences. I've now learned to love in a guarded way. Only give up what you are willing to lose.

I feel bad in a way for my future relationship(s). There will be a private story that they will not know. A broken heart that learned the hard way that words have beauty and power, but without steady action they are just words.

The lesson I am learning now is the importance of living in the moment. Finding happiness within yourself and surrounding yourself with those who love you and want time with you, as much as you do with them. I have found new friends with this thought, and let go of those who do not value me the same.
