Cerise has delivered....some tea to help the swatchlings deal with stress and aches, it's never a bad thing to get a little bit of help right?

The tea is greatly appreciated. The soothing qualities were a nice bonus as well. Not often did others outside of their own kind give them refreshments in any form so it was a nice change all things considered.

Oxygen probably plays a part in that, but I thought it was interesting anyway.

“It’s actually really simple and not too complex. We don’t go by stars or fire. To put it simply, we’re like a fancy thermal image scale, you can find a lot of examples with a quick search, however here’s a provided visual for sake of ease”

“Our colors are based off of a spectrum of heat, black and white may show up in the absence or excess of those things, however we are neither an absence of one thing nor an excess, we can’t go hotter or colder than Red or Blue”

Fun Bonus details

Anons can change the colors of the Swatchlings, but only to the level of Half-Warm/Half-Cold

In that same vein, only human lightners or individuals with fire/ice based magic can change akin to warmify/coldify.

The reason they don't seek to be the same color is technically as a full spectrum, they ARE color coordinated. Just different from the norm.

They tend to be named after something in their default color range. For example; Crimson, Apricot, Cadmium Yellow, Emerald, and Ultramarine.

To call a Swatchling by their full color rather than their usual name is equivalent to your parents calling you by your full name.

No two Swatchlings are naturally the exact same shade of a color.

I say naturally because while they can change their colors, they all have a color they find themselves most comfortable with.

Some may even look identical, but their respective hex codes is slightly different. While from an outsider's perspective its impossible to properly tell, they can all tell the difference easily like second nature. Swatch is especially good at this and can give you the exact hex code without hesitation. It's a quick and easy identifier amongst themselves.
