“Good morning, Beaumont! Starting you all off with some Johnny Otis to put some pep in your breakfast cereal or to jazz up your morning commute. Tommy Lee couldn’t be with us because of a stomach flu, our thoughts are with him. The weather is sunny with a nice 71 degrees —oh, and anyone travelling out the I-24 this morning on their way to Nashville, do expect some delays. There is a herd of goats stuck under an 18 wheeler and the Beaumont Fire Department is doing their best to sort it out.”

“Today’s song of the day is the iconic Jolene by none other than our very own Dolly. Enjoy, dear listeners. Also before we go, I’ve been told to tell all our listeners that there’s a 2 for 1 deal on banana split sundaes and banana shakes at the Backstop Diner! Don’t sleep on it!”

“We’re all still coming down from shock here at Beaumont Radio, if you haven’t heard, none other than Miss Noreen Innocent herself called in yesterday morning to refute the stories that have been circulating about her and three-time Grammy winner Avery Reed. We’ve also heard from sources that Mr. Avery Reed escaped after the CMT Music Awards to California on a two day bender. He turned up somewhere in the desert near Joshua Tree, where authorities took him in for reckless behavior. I don’t hold out hopes of Mr. Reed calling in personally to verify these claims, but it’s been a wild week for us here at Beaumont Radio, and you just never know.”

“Here to provide ya’ with the best damn road trip playlist you could ask for. — What’s that? I can’t say damn on the radio? My bad. Anyways, here’s You Really Got Me by The Kinks. Happy Wednesday, folks. It’s your host, Tommy Lee.”
