40. The only Kobe shoe I'd wear.

39. Barkley's Alpha Force, would they place hire if he won a title?

38. Terminators. High top at it's best.

38. LeBron III's. Classic to come maybe. 

37. Jordan XX3's. Gorgeous, classy, almost formal basketball shoe

36. Air Force Command. In 1990 David Robinson endorsed an absurdly expensive high tops that may be one of the best of all time. 

35. Air Force Max. Man, how many of us wore this shoe at some point

34. Jordan XVII's. First pair with the Wizards, first $200 pair. Came with the breifcase, lace protectors and DVD. It was a statement at a time when we were all so hopeful for MJ. C'mon, how excited were you when he came back to play for the team he owns (see Jay-z)

33. Converse Aero Jam. LJ's shoes pretty much just slowed kids down on the court since they were so heavy. I had one pair and never went back. But, the commercials were sick and a lot of centers wore 'em.

32. Reebok Kamikaze I's. Shout to the Rain Man. I had a pair of Kemps that I bought the season after they came out at on sale Marshall's and still rocked em cause I liked 'em so much. 

31. Air Jordan XX's. Nothing is better than black patent leather and red on a jordan. Without the ankle strap this shoe would be in my top 10 (no lie). It would make an amazing low top. 

30. Air Pippen II 1997. Classy simple shoe. 

29. Reebok Shaq Attack I. Shaq's first shoe was his best. Another heavy shoe for Centers, but popular. 

28. Air More Uptempo. 1996. Mostly worn by Pippen before he got his own line. These were popular on the courts and easily noticeable, blatant AIR advertising by Nike was sick.

27. The GLove. This was my favorite of Gary Peyton's shoe. A smooth shoe outta the box, but most kids ended up leaving the zipper open and flapping all game. 

26. Nike Foamposite. These were comfortable shoes to ball in. I never liked the look of this series much, but I like that they were different.

25. Converse RSI Accelerator. 1992. LJ's first shoe was a stealth black hightop. Unfurtunately, while Nike was adding AIR, Converse decided to add Juice. Still sick looking.

24. Air Penny II. Man these were some flashy shoes on the court. Still one of the greatest soles on any BBall shoe.

23. Jordan III's. Tinker Hatfield's first Jordan and I feel bad placing this shoe this low on the list. Maybe I underrate the III's and IV's, but I loved others much more. First Jordan showing Air Max.

22. Air Max Force. These and the later AMF's are some of the best retro's out there today.

21. Air Jordan XIV's. You may say overrated, but I think these are some of the sleekest Jordans ever. Lightweight, thin sole, good game shoe too. Inspired by NJ's Ferrari, he wore them in Game 6 in '98 against Utah.

20. Reebok Reverse Jam. Arguably the "Air Force One" of Reebok. These one are the White Men Can't Jump edition.

19. Air Jordan X. When these came out they were so simple. I remember not liking them, but purposely trying to like them just because they were the new Jordans. Also, the bottom sole lists Jordans 10 defining NBA moments as of 1994. 

18. LeBron VII's. Damn what a shoe. Definitely my favorite shoe of the 2000's and of LeBron, Wade, Kobe etc. After many mediocre shoes (and seasons) Nike goes back to basics with proven, valuable traits and gives LeBron a full sole of Air Max and patent leather. 

17. Air Penny III. Penny Hardaway is one player whose shoes turned out better than his career. After a close look at these, the Foamposites were probably intended to be his shoe.

16. Nike Dunks. One of the best customizable shoes of all time. 

15. Air Jordan IV. Tinker Hatfield's second Jordan. Like the III's, but even better. This is where I started begging my mom for Jordans. 

14. Nike Air Hurache. North Carolina sported these in 1992. One of the greatest Team shoes in history. These are out of this world. 

13. Air Penny I's. Penny was so good, great commercials with Little Penny (Chris Rock), and his shoe was sick.

12. Nike Air Raid. No other list places these this high. In '92 these were the outdoor version of the Jordan VIII's. I loved the style and managed to get a pair the following year at Marshalls again. 

11. Air Jordan XVI. First non-Tinker Hatfield Jordan in years. I may have this higher than it deserves, but patent leather and red sells. Unfortunately, these were the only pair of Jordans that I ruined. 

10. Converse Weapon. Magic and Bird BOTH wore these in the 1986 Finals. Man, Converse stock was looking good. Classic old school, I'd rock a pair now. 

9.  Air Force I. Originally released in 1982 these started it all. I've never been a big Air Force I guy, mostly interested in Jordans, but I can't deny how big these are.

8. Air Jordan V. Tinker Hatfield said he was inspired by WWII planes. Just awesome.

7. The Question. AI's first shoe in 1996 was his best. Reebok had a great, comfortable game shoe that looked good. One of the highlights of Reebok's history. I don't know why these aren't retroe'd more. 

6. Air Jordan VII. The first Jordan that didn't have NIKE AIR written on it, nor visible Air Max. Man I loved these. Dream Team versions featured #9 on the back.

5. Reebok Pump Omni-Lite. Dee Brown made these a Must-Have when he pumped-up during the Dunk Contest (see Blake Griffin and KIA)..

4. Air Jordan I. What else can I say? First Jordan ever in 1985, he was fined $5k everytime he wore them since they broke the dress code. 

3. Air Zoom Flight 95. Jason Kidd had one of the best pairs of kicks of all time. Many may not agree with this choice, but the look was incredible. I've been trying to grab a pair for a couple years now.

2. Air Jordan XI. Most have these as #1, but they are personally my second favorites. Tinker Hatfield designed these to look like a tux, while Jordan was playing baseball. He wore these in the 96 Finals and in Space Jam. 

1. Air Jordan VI's. Yes these are my favorite shoes of all time. Always have been. Tinker Hatfield gives us the 2 holes in the tongue, rear heal hook and Air Max. Jordan won his first title in these. Best looking BBall shoe ever. 

Apologies:

Kobe and Adidas. Best thing Kobe ever did was cheat so Adidas would drop him, he can go to Nike and they can stick to soccer. Sorry Adidas, but you make some ugly shoes.

T-Mac. One of the most memorable, yet grotesque shoes ever. 

Patrick Ewing. Best shoe (player) not on the list (without a title)?

Pippen's Red Maestro's. First wild colored shoe at the All-Star game. He made it like the red carpet at the Oscar's.
