“Love Drug” is a captivating new track from Beatrix Sky, a rising Seattle-based artist. The ominous stir of cathedral organs are quickly supplemented by Beatrix’ gripping vocals and some dreamy percussion. From here, the track never lets go atmospherically, reminding of Lana Del Rey certainly in tone, though also showcasing a ghostly exterior reminiscent of Marissa Nadler. “Love Drug” sounds like the remnant of a ghost, in the best way possible.
