“Oh my god, don’t tell me you’re doing this too?” she asked with a grimace, noticing the basket that Meredith was holding. Sure, she had to because she was told to by her mother, but Meredith? Meredith could of managed to get out of it. She was an adult after all. “Don’t tell me that it’s been so long since you’ve had a date that you’ve gone to desperate measures?” 

Gia tried not to roll her eyes as she sat dressed in a slinky dress and heels that she was sure was going to kill her. She felt like she was a show pony as she was on display, her basket in tow. “I know these baskets are for dates but at this point, I’m convinced that they’re just accessories,”

“See, that’s where you’ve got to beat this system. Don’t dress up, give them a shitty basket, maybe a speech about female rights and empowerment. That’s the plan for my mystery basket winner anyway.” she couldn’t help but hear the other girl, feeling the need to make a comment over it. “Gotta bring this town out of the dark ages you know?” 

This sucked. It was her mum’s idea, a founding family girl couldn’t possibly not take part in the auction, it would be scandalous. So her basket had been bid off, as if it was the basket that was really for sale. She felt like a slab of meat, and as she sat crossed legged on the floor, no cozy blanket or nice set up in sight. Just her glaring at the blank screen in front of her and a basket that concealed a very terrible assortment of treats. She just couldn’t wait to lecture the mystery winner of her basket about why they were a total creep. Unless it was Monique. God she hoped it would be Monique. 

Beatrice Fell Basket Auction

Basket includes: A bottle of vodka, a box of twinkies and a very sarcastic note over how the winner of her basket must only be able to buy dates.

“I mean...I’m not exactly broadcasting it to my family. I know what they think about the supernatural, but considering our own family secrets I’d hope they’d try and be open minded.” 

This was not something Bea did. Lying in the Mikaelson’s bed yet again they’d spent the entire weekend together, most of the time wrapping between each others legs in one way or another. The thrill of being with him was intoxicating - and it was strange how easily she’d adapted to being so comfortable around him. 

The shower was running, she could hear it from where she laid on the bed. An idea popped into her head, and, stripping off her clothes she tiptoed to the bathroom, taking in a slow breath before stepping inside. 

“Look at you, being all relationshippy.” she laughed, shoving his shoulder as he finished texting Niamh. It was adorable really, and she couldn’t help but feel happy for her friend. “You know, you’re meant to be treating me to fries here.” she pointed out with a dramatic sigh. “Bros before hoes Stiles, you’ve got to remember this in life.”

Beatrice had jumped, not realizing someone was trying to get her attention until their hand was on her shoulder, causing her to turn round. Immediately though she smiled, relieved to see a girl standing there. “Hey...Vera, right?”

Beatrice didn’t need to hear anything but that, pulling the other girl into a tight embrace. “Lucky for you, I have enough hugging abilities to keep you happy forever.” she mumbled, nestling her head on her friends shoulder. 

Zack chuckled as he ran away from the other trying to keep his distance. ‘’Okay okay…i’m sorry. I wont do it again I promise.’’ although it was pretty funny the other seemed very annoyed by his actions. ‘’Come on- you know it was funny!’’

“Oh my god you idiot.” Bea couldn’t help but laugh in confused awe at the boy, shaking her head in silent amusement. He was...insane. She was pretty sure of it, and they had some real weirdos in town he could rival in that department. “Ok, ok, it was a little funny.” she admitted with a roll of her eyes.
