Gingerbrave asked enthusiastically, toying with his blade on the counter. Wizard shook his head,

“Why would they take us out to drink?!”

He smacked him behind the head.

“Ow.”

“Sooo where are we going, Chili?”

He paused, staring at her suspiciously. Wizard became excited,

“Oh finally! I could never afford appointments!”

“I did hear it was flu season! So we must stay safe!”

He grinned hesitantly.

Wizard politely bows as a greeting, Strawberry does the same. Gingerbrave stands there, he snorts before waving quietly.

Wizard gawked, glaring at the Brave cookie- he was nervously tapping his blades tip against the wall.

“Huh? OH COOL!”

“What’s wrong?”

Wizard began, he turned to face his friend.

“Nothing!”

”Shots, so like alcohol?”

Gingerbrave asked enthusiastically, toying with his blade on the counter. Wizard shook his head,

“Why would they take us out to drink?!”

He smacked him behind the head.

It wasn't really a house, it was more like an abandoned cabin, it looked like no one lived there when in reality two out of three have trashed the place be living in it. Wizard Cookie would never.

The door swung open, Wizard Cookie recognized the puppy, it was a bit weird to see them here but it wasn't shocking. They've already seen enough of their alternate selves.

Wizard politely bowed, still holding the door open with his hand.

"Are you here alone?"

He watched him walk by before closing the door behind the two of them.

"We received the package, I assume you three sent it?"

He informed the little pup, pointing to rubbish of the box that those two ended up not cleaning up- they left it for wizard.

He answered as he began to clean up the trash from the box, slightly disappointed they didn't clean up themselves.

"Strawberry has her first pair of shoes thanks to you three."

He tried to sound sarcastic but he really wasn't the type for that. He smiled a bit seeing the Wizard help him out with the things on the floor.

Wizard Cookie said happily, a mocking smile on his face.

"He found the blades."

He nodded, and that was the last of the cardboard. He tossed the box out the window- he was going to have Gingerbrave take that down to the towns disposal soon enough.

"They were quite nice."

"There are some interesting things to do down at the town."

The book shop. He knew the shop keeper, she was a kind old lady, she had given him the keys to the back of the shop where all the spell books were stored.

"Good morning, Ma'am."

Wizard politely bowed, holding the puppy beside him by the hood, to keep him from wandering off.

"Good morning, m'dear."

The older woman turned her attention to him and smiled, she seemed nice enough.

"And who's this little one you have here?"

She asked, petting the pups head endearingly. Wizard stuttered for a moment before quickly making something up.

She chuckled while fixing her glasses, she turned to face this universes Wizard.

"I assume you're going to be looking at the spell books?"

She asked with a wink, he nodded in agreement.

"Yes I am Ma'am."

She rummaged through under her counter and brought a basket of cakes. Seems she had a favourite costumer.

"For you and your brother, enjoy!"

He explained as he unlocked the door to the back of the book shop.

It was a small, comfy room, the walls were literally bookshelves with all sorts of magical spellbooks and wicca guides, as well as runes if you search hard enough.

There was a table at the center with string light's around it, Wizard placed the basket on it and sat on one of the chairs.

"Enjoy."

"Careful, I think there's a fire rune somewhere in the book as well."

"Like I said, careful."

Wizard stared in confusion as he watched the water spout out of the notebook- of course books owned by wizard's were water proof and guarded with protection seals.

There is a small makeshift village with a few handfuls of villagers. It was…chaos to say the least. Some were having fistfights, others were arguing, all were, to some degree, agitated.

But when they saw Wizard Cookie…

All hell went loose.

“HEY! IT’S THAT TRAITOROUS WIZARD COOKIE!”

But then, a blur of a Cookie ran past, grabbed Wizard’s hand, and ran as fast as they could.

Once they found a safe place, they looked at Wizard with worried eyes. It was a GingerBrave.

Brave mumbled a little to himself, then he turned back to the wizard.

He pulls out a walkie-talkie and murmurs into it.

“Wiz, Strawbie, we’ve got loose screws…”

There was crackling on the other end, then a response.

He trailed off. He didn’t want to explain until Wiz and Strawbie got here…

Just then, there was a puff of smoke, and in teleported this universe’s Strawberry and Wizard Cookie.

Wizard took one look at the new visitor and raised an eyebrow.

Wiz found this to be a slight inconvenience. Then Brave remembered something and asked the new Wizard.

Wiz nodded along.

“Yeah, you don’t wanna get speared.”

Brave started moving.

“Then we’ll search!”

Brave walked over to him and waved. Strawbie found him very interesting.

“Wow… the only animal mutated Cookie I’ve met is C-Cream Ferret Cookie…”

Strawbie and Brave patted da dog. Wiz rolled his eyes. They had to hurry this up so they could get out of there. They still had to find that cure, and the villagers might be searching…

“Over there!”

Strawbie yelped. Wizard summoned a piece of bread.

“We have bread, birdy! Please land…”

Brave said thankfully. Wiz handed her the piece of bread, and then started a teleportation spell.

“Alrighty! Just gotta…”

Brave apologized. Wiz rolled his eyes and looked at the animal trio.

Wiz started mumbling calculations as he got his staff ready.

Brave chuckled.

“R-ready?”

“Ah… the In-Between… it connects our worlds together…”

He asked softly. He seemed to really like this place…

Wiz then noticed something and pointed downwards.
