hello!!

we're a band from south london called bears in trees. we sound a bit like if one direction wrote folk punk music, and i was hoping you'd hear us out. 'why!' i can only assume you're asking. that's cool. i can explain.

well bands don't tend to go on tumblr anymore which i think is sorta lame, because this is where we got into fandoms and fell in love with the artists that are the reason we make music today. so if you want that sort of community then! hopefully we can help.

we write songs about descending into the dirt, starting campfires at house parties, working at gay bars, and trying to realise you're deserving of love. i guess that can be pretty serious but we try to keep it posi.

and if you want a place where you can feel safe then we have a discord server too. it has over 2000 people, and there are dedicated channels to share your art/infodump about the things that matter to you/ask a bot for pretty rock pictures. we're really very enamoured with everyone in the server. it's swell. the link for that is here.

Interviewer: What do you think about starting an initiative on campus here at UK, to be more inclusive to women who have penises? So we can put urinals in the womens restroom for them.

Student: Sounds fantastic.

Interviewer: Oh, does it?

Student: Yeah.

Interviewer: What about- Let’s take it one step closer, y'know more- for inclusivity here on campus, but free tampons and pads in the mens restroom for men who have periods?

Student: Sounds great.

Interviewer: Ok- You dont see anything wrong with those statements?

Student: No.

Interviewer: What men do you know with periods?

Student: I generally use- ones like in Willy T* have pads, I use them pretty often.
