Yeah Octo-Bear fest is a little different this year

Setting up for Octo-bear Fest 2019. This year is going to be different, no costumes this year. As for the rest we’ll see in October.

first page of probably three of a little project I call “Bear-o and Noot to the moon” sort of celebrating 50 years since the US first landed on the moon. I draw Bear-o in space a bunch but never give him an actual reason why, you know aside from “I like space” so here’s him actually going to space for a reason.

I know I normally only post here like maybe twice a week and one of those is a constant sketch thing but this only makes sense if it goes up in May because it was for Mermay. I also love how it came out so much that a print version is available at my Redbubble store. I’m also working on including traditional pricing into my commission info, expect that in the next month or so.

Need to get back into drawing Bear-o more, hoping to have that book at least ready for print by the end of 2020 so I’ve been practicing backgrounds and him in general plus a character I haven’t really drawn yet, a goat constructed of tin cans named Steve.

The scariest part is how much my scanner ruined this.

This Octo-bear fest was… a struggle and I have gotten the worst case of burn out that I’ve had in the longest time. Will I do Octo-bear fest next year? Probably. Do I have the same enthusiasm I had for it last year…nope.

Like last year I’m gonna be uploading some stuff that I did during Octo-bear fest that I didn’t upload during October as to not bog people down with constant uploads, I’m also gonna work on my commission info before the holiday’s get into full swing.
