So March is the birthday month for both Alex and Henry, and rather than do separate art for each, I held a wee poll on Twitter to see what scene people wanted to see drawn out most in hopes I could combine my efforts and do a comic adaptation of it. When this moment of the book won by a landslide, I instantly knew I was going to pay for my folly. This scene was a beast to draw and took the entire month to paint thanks to a) royal bedroom, b) soaking wet Alex, c) nighttime lighting, and d) ANGST FACES.

But hey! I hunkered down and pulled it together right under the wire. I hope you enjoy how this came out. ❤️💙
