things that have happened. at this point, the family has split; annika kicked luka and rusty out for her mental health and the safety of her daughter, nadine branswell. annika and rusty are divorced and they're both waiting for rusty to change his and luka's last names back - maybe his hesitance hints at a reconciliation? either way, it'll have to come later since annika's healing back in copperdale while luka and rusty live in a trailer in the middle of strangerville (rusty says the cost of living is so cheap that it's worth it).
