“Well, thank you. In that time, I was willing to do anything” Even if that was making a deal with the devil because Mikael was the devil indeed “I am a witch but that doesn’t mean I can read minds. What are you not telling me about him? Why he did that? I’m not understanding anything, Klaus. Please just go straight to the point”

“You’ll have to learn that that hasn’t been a thing for me for centuries,” he sighed. “It’s better if I take care of myself and not put you and our family through the pain I did before” he explained, the guilt he felt weighing on him. “Well I’ll make sure to not use my last name when meeting lookalikes”

“do you have any proof? seems odd to just take your word for it.”

“— don’t i know it.” she replied with an eye roll, raising an eyebrow at klaus “it’s been more than once. you also let me feel guilty about killing the witches to save bonnie.” she said, voicing her memory outloud. “they’re four. not such babies anymore.”

“ interesting. ” lily muttered, trying to sort this story in what she originally KNEW  about werewolves and vampires. she had usually tried to stay away as far as possible from those creatures, not wanting to know more about them than she was FORCED to know. not that she held prejudice against them – - she just didn’t want to RISK  something by being too naive about the topic. she knew remus to be different, but that didn’t mean ALL OF THEM were. most especially when they were a combination of BOTH. “ – - of course not. ”

“I don’t care if I sound like her, I don’t need people looking after me like I’m some broken doll,” he muttered, obviously annoyed with the whole thought of it, even if Klaus was amused. “Elijah’s probably going to take her,” he shrugged, “Let me guess, they looked exactly like her and had a bit of her personality?” he questioned. “Because I’ve seen about 3 Tatiana’s in town already”

“it’s a paper where i’m from.” tonks said with a nod. “it used to be a lot of news, but recently there’s been more and more gossip articles. it’s kinda great.” she frowned at the one. “except you totally would. they’re the most wicked band around.”

“because i don’t NEED gifts.” caroline responded quickly “— unless elena’s stealing my prom dress. because PROM was important.” she rolled her eyes at how serious she was about everything high school related. “why don’t we agree to disagree?”

“doesn’t mean i don’t still like to give them.” he laughed and shook his head at the memory. “it was also the one time i decided to ignore you.” he nodded his head. “wise choice. but i am sorry you’re upset about the loss.” he walked with her towards a bar he knew was good for their champagne. “how old are your girls now?”

“god, i’m not even fucking surprised anymore”

“good for you. neither am i really. after being around for over a thousand years you’ve sort of seen it all.”  

“I practically rule the school at Riverdale High. Of course I’d want to stay.” She was rather uncomfortable with the topic of her mother, but she sucked it up anyways. Pushing people out was not a smart plan. “No, I don’t. I haven’t in a long time.”

“ah. teen dramas. that’s always been more my sister’s thing than mine.” he nodded and sighed. “bad relationship i’m guessing? i can relate there. both mother and father.” 

“I’m NOT scared of you. Try anything and I’ll scream very loudly.”

“do it, it’s been a while since i’ve been on a killing spree. plus there’s the act of compulsion. i can make everyone forget what has just happened.” 

“you’re… you’re not joking? how is that even possible? they don’t exist!”

“But still” She replied and rolled her eyes “And I brought back Mikael to help me with the task at first” Davina reminded him that “You just enjoying the killing, I don’t. It’s like no one is in the best terms witou. I can’t blame Marcel for that, truly”

“—yeah, well, i hope you get that too.” despite their differences and not getting along, she could empathize with klaus on that level. she couldn’t imagine not being able to be there for her kid if she had one. “vaguely. well congrats to you both.” she then let out a sigh, concern showing on her face. “so—stefan is ALIVE again? and damon isn’t here?” her eyebrows knit together. she was worried about damon and also curious that if stefan was here, could enzo be as well? she shook the thought off—it was hardly possible. “oh joy, the mikaelsons showing up. please tell me you all plan on behaving here.”

“ part vampire, part werewolf – - how ?  as in you were born  a werewolf and then turned into a vampire as well ?  or was it a bite for both ?  ” lily was for certain that she usually would be HORRIFIED, but her curiosity clearly took control of her brain. “ lily evans. ” she practically only breathed  her name.

“ He wanted me to be his good little girl.. To do whatever he wanted me to do, even sent me to boarding school so I wouldn’t end up with normal teenagers.. “ She sighed. “ W-why do you wish to scare me, sir..? “ 

“oh i see, a controlling father then. how unfortunate for you. i don’t know? boredom perhaps. i’ve been out of the game for a little while, and haven’t been able to do that.”
