Daisy wasnât pregnant, he wasnât going to be a father. âItâs probably for the best, right? I wouldâve probably sucked at that.â The man chuckled lightly as he talked to himself. It was a sad chuckle, clearly forced. After everything he had witnessed in that place, talking to himself seemed like a perfectly normal thing to do. He wasnât dad material, not in that alternate time world where his addiction was under control, much less here where he hadnât tried to help himself. Danny heard some footsteps and a turned around, hoping that they hadnât been there enough to listen to him. âHey. Itâs been crazy, right?â The reporter forced a grin.
Sasha could sense the others disappointment, his sadness, and immediately hurt own heart clenched. She didnât know what it was like to lose a child that didnât exist in the first place but had been so real in their heart, yet she could only imagine it was devastating. âYouâre allowed to be upset Danny.â Sasha said with a very soft voice. âIt... it has. It really has been crazy. Its almost too much. So much was different... almost better.â
