tumblr could not have changed everything at a worse time for me. I had only just started getting back on my feet, using my side blog to promote a certain side job (sorry, mom). It was going pretty well, I at least made one rent paymentā¦ 3 months ago. Because now my hours were cut in the store I work at, because that is the nature of small businesses.Ā
Now I owe 1,000$ to my landlord, and more to my parents for when they helped me out months ago.Ā
Please help me out. Iāve run out of places to turn. Iāve picked up side jobs around my city, but itās not enough. Iām down to one meal a day, two if I can pick up enough bottles for taco bell. iāve been applying for jobs daily, but itās the end of the semester in a 75% college city. You do the math.Ā
I started that side job out of desperation (and a little fun, but mostly desperation). it was the only thing i could do around my weird schedule of activism and classes.Ā
I donāt want to need to do it anymore, either. I want to be a teacher, and I donāt want my future students finding me. I just want to eat and not get evicted.Ā
Iāve now been told by my roommate that the landlord is about to evict me unless i come up with 1,500$ asap. Iām sure i can hold off the deadline if i pay everything i have (about 300$) and keep paying chunks itll be okay, but I highly doubt Iāll be able to pull this off.
