one of my top favourite scenes in aftg is when that huge gorilla player is fucking kevin off so he yells for matt and matt just immediately throws his racquet away mid game to deliver the most brutal suckerpunch he possibly can AND THEN when gorilla is like im going to kill this man matt just hightails back to the goal and andrew whose easily like half this mans size just stands in between them like try me bitch and it WORKS and anyway matt gets carded but gives kevin a thumbs up like ay i got u bro and neil watches it all unfold in the space of like 20 seconds like ah yes. my sporting legend idols. i want to be just like them :)

Andrew Minyard really looked Neil Josten in the face and called him a pipe dream and it still took Neil 300 pages later to clock that the fucker was completely in love with him
