They'll write a story of the lives we lived

Ok. This is probably the longest I’ve ever worked on editing a video before. I actually can not believe I finally finished it. When I started editing this, everything was beautiful and nothing hurt. Beth was alive and in my vision, she and Daryl had a great potencial to become a couple. I was certain that we were going to see a lot of new beautiful scenes about them. In my heart, I knew something special was growing between them. It was clear the influence Beth had on Daryl. She changed him, gave him a new perspective on life. Maybe it wasn’t about just surviving anymore. Maybe now there was something worth living. For the first time since season one, we saw a different side of Daryl. For the first time, we saw Daryl talking about his feelings and his past. And that’s why I love this couple so much. That’s why I’ll continue to love them even though now she’s dead. I can’t even describe how painful was to see their relationship ending in such a ridiculous way when it was just about to start. I was sure I wouldn’t edit another video of them anymore. I didn’t want to. But for some reason, one night I found myself opening Sony Vegas and that’s the result. I didn’t want to make this a sad video - althought due to circumstances it’s almost impossible. It’s not the happy ending I imagined for them but I decided to focus on the positive side of their relationship. Or at least I tried. Anyway, I hope you like it. Ok, so here goes a warm-up for tomorrow's episode! It's a lame video, definitely not my best but I hope you like it anyway.
