I feel like this has definitely been done before, but hear me out. TattooArtist!Remus (not trained, obviously), and Sirius is his test dummy. So Sirius just has all of these random little tattoos that don’t really mean anything, but Remus wanted to work on his line work, shading, etc. Sirius is just COVERED in terrible tattoos from when Remus was first starting out, but he loves them, because he knows that they’ve made Remus a better artist, as well as happy, and that is all that Sirius has ever wanted.
