Poolside is back and bringing the heatwave with their third album “Low Season” released on Pacific Standard Records.

This sunlit album is calming, soothing yet bright and cheerful and stays authentic to their “daytime disco” sound. It takes you on a tropical adventure by captivating you with leisurely grooves while delicately serenading you with vocals on tracks, “I Feel High,” “Can’t Stop Your Lovin," “Losing Control” and “Kinda Lovely.” Their single, “Around The Sun,” is a dreamy track that has everything you need to warm you up, simply close your eyes and you’ll be taken to a sultry sunny day near the ocean or pool accompanied by a cool refreshment!

We’re excited to announce Mission Disco, our first collaborative event with Funk LeBlanc! Hosted by Slate in the Mission, this party will feature sounds of nudisco, indie dance, future funk and bloghaus. Funk LeBlanc will also be debuting his new single and will be featuring countless edits! We’re aiming to make this a monthly party so come out and support the movement! Cheers!

We're excited to announce our next event "One More Time" which we'll be featuring sounds from nu-disco pioneers, Daft Punk, Breakbot, Chromeo, and many more! 

We couldn't be more thrilled to have Funk LeBlanc spin with us for this event! An amazing producer that has a ton of wonderful edits and released a fascinating single WWMMD featuring the stunning vocals from Zacari Pacaldo, who was featured on Kendrick Lamar's "LOVE" (check out the sexy tune below).

Word on the street is he'll be playing some unreleased tracks too so be sure to come through and check it out.

We're excited to announce that we'll be participating in the 5th Annual Art In A Different Light event over at 111 Minna Gallery on May 18th from 8:30 p.m. till close.  

Hailing from the depths of a dusty groove, Dino Soccio is back to deliver the gospel of soul and funk. "Tough" premiers off his Pleasure of Edits EP, packing a punch with bass kicks and melodious synths. This track is know to cause injury, so make sure to lift with your legs and shake it like a bad habit.

Straight out of Germany, First Touch drops their self titled double LP and it's nothing short of amazing! Staying true to their Modern Funk roots, which many have said they helped pioneer. This album is filled with marvelous analog funk tracks and has a tremendous boogie vibe that can keep any party going. Already one of our favorite LPs of 2018, be sure to check them out and as always show some support!
