Baxter House formed in Los Angeles, California when three friends lived in a house together on Baxter Street that caught on fire. Rachel Mintz, Sky Minor and Malik Williams had played in bands before and all found themselves transplanted to Echo Park. Malik played guitar, Sky played drums and Rachel sang.  The trio released their debut EP "Please Baxter, Don't Hurt 'Em" in 2006 which is available on CD Baby and Amazon. They toured extensively throughout 2006 and 2007. Their second release was a full length LP called "Another Platinum Disc on the Wall" that came out in 2008. Baxter House continues to play around Los Angeles.
