Some work for Charleston Magazine! Big brown bat chasing a mosquito. I haven’t painted bats before, despite really liking them as a kid, so this was really fun to do.

These two bats are up for grabs in the shop! We’re going to be doing a resculpt of the fruit bat come September, so if you like THIS version specifically, here’s your chance to get one of the last ones. These guys are poseable as usual and come with a little loop and pin under their tail, so they can be pinned to your bag, shoulder, top hat etc. Their heads are cast resin from our original sculpts, hand painted and sealed and assembled using faux fur and heavy felt. On an unrelated note, the last of the shipments held up by the looming Canada Post strike are going out tomorrow. Thank you guys for your patience about the possible strike! We’re so glad its off the radar for now!
