I love Tim so much guys. You don't even understand. He's just so funny and real sometimes. And I love that one of the tags was "it was in the plan sorry no one pays attention to the middle child" because of course he planned jumping off a building. Of course it wasn't that the plan messed up somewhere along the way and he ended up having to jump of a building, no he planned that. Of course he would mess up his very elaborate multi step contingency plan. Of course he didn't see anything wrong with this and therefore showed the plan to his family and of course they just didn't pay attention. Or another option is that he knew that they would see something wrong with him jumping off a building but also knew they wouldn't pay attention to him or notice when he mentioned it when going over the plan. Ahhhh! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

With all my angry ranting this is also important to say. While many transandrophobes are trans women, not all transandrophobes are, and not all trans women are transandrophobes. Honestly I don’t even think most of them are. Usually, trans women are some of our biggest, most dedicated allies, and I love them.

I feel this in my bones because I once read a post that pissed me off sooooo bad I want to tear my hair out because it was against the terms transandrophobia and transmisandry because regular base androphobia and misandry aren’t real and whoever oppresses you as a trans man is just displaying “textbook transphobia” and not only is that purposefully ignoring the very important TRANS modifier in front of those words, it’s also ignoring the fact that trans men face unique forms of transphobia and we deserve to be able to refer to them however the fuck we want because they’re OUR experiences. The poster was so infantilizing she ended her post with “ok my darlings?” like she was talking to kindergartners and in her tags she unironically said “use different language to speak about your unique experiences. ok?” and idk abt you but to me that sounds like something I would make up to exemplify how ridiculous it is as someone who is NOT IN THIS MINORITY GROUP. TO TELL PWOPLE WHO ARE IN THE MINORITY GROJP. TO CHANGE HOW W E TALK ABOJT O U R EXPERIENCES BECAUSE Y O U DONT LIKE IT. UGH. Use your brain. Use your brain. That thing in your head? Use it. It is TRANSandrophobia, TRANSmisandry, just like trans women have the word TRANSmisogyny. Nobody is trying to claim that transmisogyny is the same as “regular” misogyny or misogyny directed at cis women, why are we being purposefully ignorant and acting like transandrophobia or transmisandry means the same thing as “androphobia” or “misandry” directed at cis men??? It’s not! That’s why we put the word TRANS IN FRONT OF IT!!! Transmisogyny is the unique experience of trans women’s oppression as a result of their being specifically trans women. If it was simply their being a women, it would just be called misogyny, but we call it transmisogyny because it’s a result of their combined womanhood and TRANSNESS. The same is true for trans men. If we meant we were being oppressed simply for being men we would just say misandry but we don’t we say transmisandry because it’s a unique form of oppression that we experience as a result of being specifically trans men. Yes it is transphobia but it is a unique form of transphobia that people who are not transmasc do not experience. There is not a better word for that. And more importantly, non transmascs do not get to demand that we change the vocabulary WE use for OUR experiences that they DO NOT SHARE. I would never try to police how a trans woman talks about her unique experiences even if it makes me uncomfortable because it’s not supposed to BE comfortable, and because I do not experience transmisogyny because I am not. A. Trans. Woman. I feel we should be afforded the same courtesy. I’m sorry for the possible unintelligibility of this paragraph it is late and I am very mad. Happy Pride.
