When Bruce Wayne has a fight with one of his kids, there’s only one person he wants to talk to. Fem!Hal Jordan is surprised it’s her.

“Lantern?”

Hal was getting ready to take off when he had heard Diana calling for him.

He turned around to face her, taking in her grave expression, her face marked by profound sadness. The Amazonian princess had put on a brave face during the ceremony, looking regal even in mourning but Hal knew her grief ran deeper than the loss of a comrade. Because he had seen that look already, on someone else’s face, the day of Superman’s death. Her affection for Clark hadn’t exactly been the most guarded secret among the League.

He was doubting she would accept it but he still opened his arms discreetly nonetheless, mindful of the curious eyes watching them. Surprisingly, she took the invitation and wrapped her arms around his shoulders with a defeated sigh. She was crushing him but he didn’t have the heart to tell her, simply embracing her in kind, hoping to at least give her some kind of relief.

“You good, princess?” he asked in a whisper when she pulled away, her hands resting lightly on his shoulders still.

A rueful smile appeared on her face when she answered.

“Do not worry about me, Lantern. Worry about yourself, for once.”

Hal wanted to remind her that he wasn’t one of the two people who had lost more than a fellow Leaguer after nearly dying herself but he guessed that with the ass whooping that monstrosity had given him, her own worries were justified. He still tried for one of his signature smirks however, hoping to put her a bit more at ease.

“I’m fine. Nothing I can’t handle.”

She rolled her eyes and shook her head with a fond look, squeezing his shoulders one last time before letting go of him completely, taking a step back.

“Since you are clearly leaving to see him, tell Batman I will visit him in a few days.”

Hal stalled and sputtered, eyes widening behind his green mask as he flailed.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about-” he started but was quickly silenced by the unimpressed stare she fixed on him.

“Sure you don’t. Not all of us are as oblivious and naïve as Flash, my friend.”

“Diana…”

What had been happening between Bruce and him…

He landed in a heap of limbs, flailing gracelessly, and… No trees nor grass? Before losing himself in his own thoughts, he had been flying toward a small clearing. Right? Why did the floor feel so hard and cold under him?

For Batlantern Week Day 6 - Civilian/Superhero AU or Jealous

The first time he says it, it’s to Barry Allen.

They need all the help they can get, so Hal calls in The Flash. When he arrives in a blast of lightning, Hal greets him with “Hey baby” and a ridiculous smirk.

And it’s stupid. Clearly it’s stupid because Barry rolls his eyes at Hal and says something about it being better than Hal calling him his real name in the field. Bruce narrows his eyes at the two, annoyed because Hal is unprofessional and reckless. Because he smirks at his teammates and calls them “baby.”

It’s because he’s still annoyed at Hal that Bruce accidentally grips Barry’s hand a little too tight.

Power levels 1%.

“Oh, fuck me,” Hal grumbled frustratingly under his breath, eyes scanning the area for a place where he could make an emergency landing in peace; somewhere with no trees, like maybe a clearing.

He had just entered the atmosphere, somewhere above the east coast, when his ring had alerted him of its already low power level. He hadn’t had enough juice to speed his way to Coast and Gotham had been the closest city he knew of with zeta tubes so the decision had been taken quickly. At the very least, he would be able to be home in no time after crashing in a hotel for the night.

Thanks the League and thanks mister Wayne, he thought with a little smirk as the image of the blue eyed beauty that was the Justice League’s benefactor popped in his mind. Maybe he would ask him to meet up before going back to Coast City instead of waiting a few days. He wanted to see him. Desperately.

The last text makes Bruce pause. He knows Clark can’t see him, but he turns to glare in the direction of Metropolis anyway and takes a large bite of his toast. And if he is chewing a little louder than usual, well, no one is here to call him out on it.

Bruce ignores the text. Just like he has ignored all the others and reaches for the Gotham Gazette’s sports section, it seems the Gotham knights lost the game this weekend and that they are considering a trade with the Star City team. Bruce continues to read as the tv drones on in the background at a low volume.

“Morning, B.” Jason greets as he enters the kitchen and takes the seat. The grin in his voice is audible, and Bruce almost wines. Jason has most definitely seen the news.

I know it’s not the end of the day yet, so I’ll edit this post to add to it if more fics are posted.

Body Swap

Go F*ck Yourself by River9Noble - Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Batman end up body swapped after an alien battle. Which is basically the worst thing ever, except for how cool it is to see how hot their own bodies look from an outsider’s perspective. (BATMAN: It’s so not cool, Hal. HAL: Are you kidding me? I’m so hot! BATMAN: I hate you. Give me my body back.)

Try doing that again when you’re not wearing my face, please by flaminpumpkin - “And stop doing that with my face, Spooky,” he grumbled, putting a finger on the knot between Bruce’s eyebrows and pushing up to smooth out the skin. “You’re going to give me early wrinkles with your bad habits.”

That had been a terribly idiotic thing to do, in retrospect. Hal should have known that. But he had acted on instinct, trying to make Bruce relax for once, only for the other man to grab his wrist at light speed and hold it above his head firmly, the Bat glaring down at him with a hard, stern look on his face.
